New Blended First Aid Courses at Phoenix
3rd March 2021
In February, we ran our first combined First Aid at Work and Paediatric First Aid Course, which proved so popular, we have decided to run two more dates this march!
If you are not familiar with our new format, here’s some information for you to explain:
- Blended training allows each delegate to complete several, video delivered, online modules at home in their own time, keeping learning flexible and enjoyable, before attending our training room for one or two days of practical assessment, which is dependant on the course attended
- Online modular learning covers topics such as an Introduction to First Aid, Safety and Casualty Care, Minor First Aid, Basic Life Support, Medical First Aid and Injury First Aid and these will be supported with videos and multiple choice questions at the end of each module so the delegate can actively put their learning into practice and retain vital information for the assessment
- Practical assessments will take place in our Keighley based training room and they will be performed in a COVID safe environment, keeping each delegate as safe as possible. These will run over either one day or two and this is course dependant
Which courses are we running?
Option 1: Blended Combined First Aid at Work/Paediatric – £174.99 + vat
Online learning + 2 practical skills test days
Option 2: Blended Paediatric First Aid – £79.99 + vat
Online learning + 1 practical skills test day
Upcoming Dates:
As mentioned previously, the online learning aspect of these courses will be undertaken at the delegates own pace and they will have modules to complete that will all need to be finished prior to practical skills test.
The practical days for each course would be as follows:
Combined FAW/Paediatric: 24th and 25th March
Paediatric only: 24th March
In order to book onto one of these courses, please do contact us via either email or telephone as soon as possible as we know spaces will fill up quickly!
